Giovanni Mazzuchelli was born in Italy in 1987. He believes in the aesthetic, historical and cultural significance of photography. He aims for his work to spark intrigue in the viewer, while also accurately recording the culture and history of the subjects that he photographs, without transforming or altering the scenarios. For 5 years he travelled and photographed throughout Cambodia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and Canada. He completed the Photojournalism and Documentary Photography Programmme at the Market Photo Workshop in 2018 and is currently based out of Toronto, Canada.
