My body of work explores my own personal experiences as well as universal trauma. Through the artworks, I give myself the prospect of expression of my deep suffering and own private horrors. Which time and again, leading me in an anxiety and depression. Therefore, I attempt to transform pain into something meaningful and metaphorically bring forth to the viewers some scenes of the during, and after math of Gender Based Violence. Most importantly, to heal and give honour to myself and other rape survivors. To heal my wounds and release my sadness. However, I do not directly represent trauma, it is at some point encrypted in my works. Visually, I attempt to depict the power and strength that I withhold as a sexual assault survivor. Moreover, fearlessly give new positive meaning of the experiences.
