Luce Steenkamp

Luce Steenkamp is the founder of Africa Human Rights Film Festival, an experienced civil rights activist focusing on the rights of the indigenous and marginalized peoples, especially on the rights of women and girls. Luce has been projects manager for the Bushman Council in Askham, Northern Cape for 13 years and has initiated various community-based projects targeting the youth and women. She is passionate about using photography and multimedia as forms of storytelling.
