On 4th September 2022 I attended a church service that was taking place at our church under Nkhoma synod. It was a happy Sunday whereby we had a ceremony which is women’s guild initiation as shown on the picture.

It was on September 2 I had visited Lilongwe Technical College and found a man selling chips. I decided to take his picture as I felt he had good customer service.

My childhood friend Charles is a brick layer, the only job he knows which puts food on his table.

A make-shift bridge constructed by community members in Area 49 after the bridge was washed away by heavy rains. There is a man who collects money from everyone who uses the bridge, money that is used to maintain the bridge.

The children in the image had visited me and I was happy to see them as I had been all alone at home and as they were leaving, I decided to take their picture.

Eleven-year-old Pemphero, is a friend of mine who is currently. She is hard-working and well-mannered, showing respect to her elders.

My neighbour Mrs Misomali was doing her morning chores when I took this picture. She has three children and gives me good advice.

Ngozo is a Motorcycle mechanic who owns a garage in Lilongwe. He learnt his craft at Lilongwe Technical College, before opening his garage.

Sisters Rose, Diana and Chifundo, attend Nkhubwi Primary School and have Physical Education as a lesson and here they were practising what they had been taught at school.

Youth club meeting at our church where this brother and sister also attended and I decided to take their picture.

1st September 2022. Leo is our neighbours dog who protects the whole compound at night. I decided to take his picture in the morning while he was resting.
