Education is an investment, essential for personal, economic, and societal development. However, for the girl child in Zimbabwe access to this right remains a significant challenge due to various barriers. The project focuses on the challenges faced by the girl child to acquire education, which are caused by poverty, traditional gender roles, inadequate educational infrastructure, gender inequality, distance and transportation, early marriages and pregnancies, lack of sanitation facilities, violence and harassment and child delinquencies.
