FUTSAL is a photographic series created in an organic environment in its different senses and forms. Its focus is to admire, in the first instance, the human being’s ability to transform and make use of everything around them, thus adapting space to objects and vice versa.
The series adopts the name FUTSAL from the nuances that exist in what seems like a simple entertainment of a football game, which is held where salt flats used to be. It portrays the transformation of a space that had been used for salt production into a football hall. The characters use reusable material recovered from a dumpster created in the same space, to demarcate the limits of the court and set up the goals.
FUTSAL translates into a language that describes and questions the anonymity that contemplates people who contribute, albeit indirectly, in a positive way, to a healthy environment.
