I'm Sithembiso Prophet Mathabela

Sithembiso Prophet Mathabela born  in Mpumalanga Mshadza in 2000, he grew up in Nelspruit. Mathabela went to Lindani primary school then later moved to Jerusalem high school. Mathabela is soccer player and former  sports analyst. He is also an aspiring  musician. He previously worked at Buscor as driver. Mathabela is currently a photographer ,visual artist  and studies Mobile Journalism.

His photography project focuses on Local business man, Vuma Jito (32),who resides in  Embalenhle extension 14. Jito started his business in 2010 to sustain his life and to change the negativity in his community  like poverty , crime and the unskilled to have knowledge .

“I am really inspired by his work. We all come from different backgrounds ,but if you put your mind to it, it is possible. South African’s let us strive and change our lives, together we are one. Being your own fan boost your confidence. We might be listed as black but we are not blacklisted to start our own business”.
