Plastic Collectors Heroes by Tino Muchirahondo

In the vast tapestry of individuals striving to create a cleaner and more sustainable world, few are as often overlooked as the plastic collectors. These unsung heroes dedicate their lives to collecting discarded plastic for recycling, braving numerous challenges and enduring stigmatization. However, behind their weathered appearance lies a profound determination to protect the environment and lead fulfilling lives alongside their families.  The plastic collectors are warriors battling against the tide of waste, their tireless efforts shaping a more sustainable future. Their lives are a testament to the power of determination and the resilience of the human spirit. This project sheds light on their stories, capturing their strength and humanity. By showcasing their untold narratives, we can challenge stereotypes, elevate their voices, and inspire others to join the cause of environmental stewardship.
