Tshegofatso Mogatwe was born 1992, and lived in a very small village called Verdwaal in the North West. Tshegofatso studied Administration and has attained skills in hospitality. She is currently studying studying electrical engineering. Tshegofatso is a volunteer at community organisation Refentse Drop in Centre. Her mother is survivor of gender-based violence and was abused by her late father. Tshegofatso learnt that victims of abuse needs to be helped to heal. Connect them with crisis hotlines, support groups, domestic violence shelters, mental health services, or anything else they may need. She feels better after opening up about her mother’s experience.
