My story about the Yeoville Market is centred around the space of the Market and the actual structure and how people relate and interact within the space. People spend a lot of time at the Market and it has become a secondary community for most of the people there. The actual structure is what all the people have in common but they all relate to the space differently as they all have different stalls in different sections of the market. Some are old and some have kids, but they are all forced to be in this space for extended periods of time. They all make the space comfortable however they can. I was interested in how the space brings them all together and how it’s structured to accommodate so many people in its design. A lot of times I was attracted to the little things people did in their stalls or around the confines of the space that related to them or spoke of them in a way.
