The series of images I have developed focuses on the aura of the market. The market on the surface deals with the reality of gain vs. loss or the process of exchange. Beyond that lies a subtle ritual, an invisible language, a notion of give and take and a common ground between the space and the people occupying the space. The title of this body of work is 10 Years and Beyond. It focuses on the marketeers that have been at the market for more than 10 years and who are still selling at the market today. Some of the marketeers have achieved a lot with the little money that they make at the market. They all come from different places leaving their families, just to make ends meet.
